I read a piece of news, which says that Jerry Yang, CEO of Yahoo! will resign and Yahoo! is preparing for looking for the successor of Jerry. Is this true?

After Yahoo! failed to cooperate with Yahoo! on the online ads issue, Jerry was regretful to refuse MS's offer on acquiring Yahoo!. He said in public that MS shouldn't stop its plan of acquisition. Does this mean that Yahoo! is already at the end of its rope? It is said that Yahoo! is engaging in talks with AOL. Did you hear this? Jerry refuses to comment on this issue.

Hehe, the other shareholders must be angry with him. Without Jerry, MS might have bought Yahoo!. Now, Yahoo! is nearly dead.

1500 job cuts in its headquarter next month, it's a tragedy! It's Yang's ignorance, indecisiveness and greed that lose the best offer from Microsoft months ago.

GUEST2124 Yahoo! is already dead. Ballmer said on Wednesday that MS was not interested in Yahoo! now and it wouldn't acquire Yahoo!. Ballmer's words gave Yahoo! a big blow. Yahoo!'s shares slumped about 20 percent on Wednesday, the lowest in recent 5 years.

GUEST0278 Jerry should be responsible for Yahoo!'s failure. When MS made an offer of 47.5 billion dollars, or 33 dollars per share, Jerry Yang should have taken this offer. But he didn't. He thought that Yahoo! is worth more than 33 dollars. Now Yahoo!'s shares slumped to 10 dollars and no one wants to take over Yahoo!. Too bad.

Now that I remember, must tell Lao Po to take e-mail address from somewhere else and dumb the old Yahoo.

I once bought an apartment, paid about 500,000 FIM (we call it "grandma´s", from time before EU and €) Anyway, then came depression and my business did not go so well and I had to sell the apartment. I got about 350,000 FIM.

So investing at the wrong time. Happens to all of us, it is said. Only difference between me and Jerry is that he played with someone else´s money.

He's gone perhaps with his personal ownership at <$10 per share which could have been worth $33 if he had not been that greedy on Microsoft offer. And he is also a borer who gets a tree trunk rotten.
