kunming - lijiang - dali weather and fog

I'm planning to go to these cities around mid April. I can see the temp and rain info online, but not sure if that month is foggy or cloudy. I'm interested in the views of the hills and mountains, but can't find any info as to the clearness of the air - do you have any info?

Hello Scott,

The air is definitely clean in Yunnan in Lijiang and Dali but you'll have to take pot luck like everyone else that you get clear weather. In the mountains around Lijiang it can close in quickly and clear just as fast or the weather can hang around cloudy and low for days. Same in Dali but more change of clearing over caste but changeable conditions. Just have your camera ready for the unexpected and if you luck on all fine weather then you will be a happy camper.
