Houston's Yao talked back to his coach Rick's criticism after the match against Pacers. Rick criticized Yao's defence in the last few minutes of the match. However, Yao said that Rick's arrangement and adjustment of defence in last few minutes were wrong. Who was right?

Losing the match made Yao feel very bad. When interviewed in the changing room, Yao couldn't control himself and said "Damn" to let his frustration out. Yes, Yao need to let his anger and frustration out. He got hurt in the match and finally they lost to their rivals just one point. He couldn't believe the result.

Since 2002, Yao has played 8 years for Houston Rockets. In these years, he has played 419 games. Maybe, Yao should change another team. He stays in the same team too long. Do you hink he should leave?

Yao got hurt during the game.

I don´t know much about NBA, not much about basket ball but I speak as a coach.

Whatever happens in the field the coach is always responsible. He decides how the team should play. One very big difference between bb- or hockey coach to football (soccer) coach is that they have much possibilities to change tactics during match. However, is some player fails within the last minutes of the match, time to react is minimum.
Despite of that the coach should take the failier as a failier of whole team and then as a failier of coach. So, IMO Rick was wrong.

But, but... no player should EVER criticise his/her coach in public. So, IMO Yao was wrong.

What comes to possible move to some other team for Yao, there are many things he must think about. Yao has played in same team many years, but the team itself is not necessary same. Perhaps many players have come and gone. Perhaps Yao has not played all his Houston career under Rick, I don´t know. Perhaps he likes Houston, perhaps no.

Yao got hurt and his team lost 1 point to Pacers. This made him very angry. I don't remember that Yao behaved like this in his previous matches. Rick and Yao should make compromise for the sake of Houston Rockets.
