I am a movie-goer. I read some news about the new movies. It is said that an American movie titled the True Story of Che Guevara was a recent popular movie. Cubans liked this movie. The guy was a military general or some figure. Why is he popular in America? Do you know this guy?

I don´t think Che is very popular in the US. He was a communist. He was Fidel Castro´s right hand and during civil war and after it too, mercyless punisher, although must say some sources say he was thoughtful and subjective judge.
He was executed in Bolivia in the end of 60´s.

Actually, he is has been popular in the US since the 60's. There is somewhat of a sub culture about him with the early rock bands and even now with the hispanic community. He was a educated doctor who joined Castro in the 50's/60's and became one of his key people. But after the revolution, he was more interested in the revolution itself and left Cuba to start another one in several other countries, but failed. Bolivia found him stiring up trouble in the hillside and killed him. Many here in the US see him as a revolutionary icon.
