What is the weather in shanghai and will it snow?

Dear,

I will be traveling to shanghai, wei zhou, su zhou, na jing and etc in 3rd jan 2009. I would like to know if it will snow and what will the weather be like? Never been to china. 1st time there with my hubby and my 3+yr old kid. We will be going with a tour group. Any good advice to give for my trip there?

During mid winter it is cold. Most buildings are unheated as it is in 'the south' ie S of the Yangtze. Yes it can snow. Best advice is to bring a few clothes and buy more here to as they are cheap and you can see what you need at the time..unless you are large sized then you should bring more as llarger sizes are harder to get.

Doubt it will snow, but it'll be around freezing temperature.
Advise you to wear thermal innerwear, fleece/sweater and a good down coat.
