| Materials: 420 grams flank beef, 1 potato, 1/2 carrot, 1/4 onion, 2 shallots, 3 pieces of ginger, 3 cloves of garlic, 6 red chilli, 1 tablespoon Chinese prickly ash, 2 bay leaves and 2 pieces of star anise. Marinade: 1 tablespoon edible oil, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon cooking wine, 1/3 tablespoon white pepper powder. Seasonings: 2 tablespoons edible oil, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/4 tablespoon white sugar. Step 1 Wash flank beef and cut it into pieces and mix with 1 tablespoon edible oil, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon cooking wine, 1/3 tablespoon white pepper powder well and marinade for 30 minutes. |

| Step 2 Peel potato and carrot and then cut them into dices separately. Cut onion into shreds and red chilli into pieces. Cut shallot into sections and ginger into slices. Finally, mash the garlic. |
