Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kaka, Fernando Torres and Xavi are the five men. It is said that Messi is the most favourite condidate among the five guys. Messi led Argentina to win the Olympic Gold medals. In this new season, he also leads Barca to be No.1 at the score table. Brilliant! Ronaldo did have a brilliant season last year. However, he doesn't perform in the new season. That's why some people thought he couldn't win. Who do you think will win? As for women's shortlist, Brazilian players Cristiane and Marta, and Nadine Angerer and Birgit Prinz, both of Germany, are on the list, along with England striker Kelly Smith.
