BLESSINGS1276 Points: Join Date: Mar 3, 2008 Status: offline	Can somebody clarify what I read online that a spouse of a temporary resident in China (my husband works here & have the temporary resident permit) can apply for his family too? Btw, the company cannot provide us with it. I called Guangdong Visa Service Center and they said they can't do that anymore. I am so bummed, I want to stay here with my husband. Now if I can't get a temporary resident permit, what options do I have left? Can I go to HK to extend my visa? I'm Indonesian citizen btw. Thanks!

APAULT Points: Join Date: Mar 11, 2006 Status: Offline	You can certainly stay with your husband. Earlier posts say you should apply for a tourist visa on the basis of accompanying family.

You need to check with the Guangdong Visa Centre. I did contact an agency in Shanghai asking if there's any change of rules that I'm not aware of and they said nothing has change and I can still get it transfer over. Davide, thanks for the info. I'm holding a tourist (L) visa right now and I entered GZ on Dec 16. Do you work for an agency or company in Guangzhou?

If ur husband holding a woking permit in mainland, u can get a long time L visa,but also depend on ur husband woking permit which date expire.
u just need preperare some documents about the marriage certificate, which notari in China embassy.
