![]() | Usually, the new bride and groom hold their wedding ceremony with the wedding march. However, a couple in Guangzhou created a good idea. At their wedding ceremony, more than four hundred guests were invited to sing national anthem of the PRC in red to celebrate their wedding. Their wedding was successful but singing national anthem of the PRC caused a dispute. Some people praised their creative idea. But many other people criticized this couple. They said that the national anthem was sacred and it couldn't be sung or played randomly. What do you think? Did you attend such a creative wedding ceremony before? ![]() |

![]() | Using national anthem everywhere makes me feel sick. I even don“t like is to be sung at national sport events such as ice hockey match. This phenomenom has spread to Finland too, perhaps from NHL, where plays many Finnish players. One team may contain players from US, Finland, Tchecks, Russia, Sweden, and of course from Canada. Do they sing US anthem too? Or do foreign players sing Finnish anthem here? Carlos |

You see, they come from different countries. Just kidding, Carlos. Some people even use China's national anthem as their cellphone ringtone. Do they want to tell others that they are very patriotic? No, they are disgusting! |

![]() | We didn't sing the Star Spangled Banner at my wedding; I never considered the idea. As I read the post, I didn't take the use of the PRC National Anthem as anything degrading, but rather as a show of respect to the middle kingdom and the people. |
