GUEST16027 For my Z visa I didn't need a police certificate.
Just say no.
I promise.
Just don't act suspicious or anything? haha.
China doesn't care as long as you don't mess up in THEIR country.

Alabaster: Apart from the fact that posts keep saying...'keep yer gob shut'.... an Australian No Conviction Recorded does not count as a conviction.

GUEST16219 If you tick yes, they will ask for a Australian Federal Police certificate. I have been to china a few times, declared my record in a letter each time. But about 18 months ago I did the same thing and they said i now need Australian Federal Police certificate. I tried for a visa in both Brisbane and Sydney and both times they said I had to have the certificate.
So yes, tick the box and declare your record but you will need that police check.

I know of an American man that just received an arerest warrant in Thailand that left Thailand for Shanghai a few months before the arrest warrant was issued.

How will this affect him now in getting visa extensions?

There are a lot of expats here in Thailand that would like to see this man caught for his cyber stalking, electronic publication crimes and he is alleged (by many!) to be a pedophile for a long time now.

Sorry, this is quite ugly, but there are a lot of people trying to get this man caught as he was ordered by the Thai courts to take his filthy attack site down do to such things as criminal slander to leud and indecent photos and stories.

We are working on all angles to try and get him caught and brought back to face his two year minimum prison term.

Any ideas here?

Thanks!
