Hello,

I am traveling from Sapa, Vietnam to Kunming, China and need to arrive on the 22nd of January. Will I be able to find an overninght bus or train ticket in Hekou when I arrive on the 21st? Or, should I arrive a day earlier and spend the night? What is the best way to make the trip. I would appreciate any advice. I am worried that tickets will be sold out because of the holiday.

It's possible and would be advisable to give yourself an extra day if you have it.
