travel from Chengdu to Wuhan

I am travelling from Chengdu to Wuhan in February and was wondering whether the train journey is worthy to take? Also, is the train much more expensive than flight between these two cities?

Any information about attractions in Chengdu is also appreciated!

GUEST55219 train tickect is cheaper than air ticket,
chengdu to wuchang, there are like 3or 4 choices , go to wuchang is convenient to hankou. and the airport in hankou alil bit far.
the train ticket like sleep ticket around 300-400 RMB, dont know when you plan to buy ticket ,you know chinese spring festival is coming soon its hard to get ticket by any way..

February? If you're travelling anytime before mid-February, you might be better off shelling out more for a plane ticket.
