| 2009 Australian Open will kick off next Monday. Who do you think will the the champions? To be honest, I began to watch the Australian Open from 2008. Obviously, I don't have much knowledge about the Australian Open. However, I found an interesting article about the Australian Open on the internet. In that article, the newspaper selects ten greatest matches ever played at the Australian Open. I am totally impressed by two matches. One is 1995 men's quarter-final, the other is 2000 men's semi-final. These two matches both have something to do with Sampras. In that quarter-final, Sampras lost first two sets. His coach was said to suffer the cancer and this made Pete frustrated. However, he finally prevailed in the fifth set. In 2000 men's semi-final, Sampras did 37 aces but still lost to Agassi who was the best serve-returner of all time. Which is the greatest match played at the Australian Open in your eyes? |
