guest78196 Hello,

I am currently in Hong Kong trying to get to Hanoi, Vietnam by train. I am hoping to travel on Mon Jan 19th, but am flexible. How would one go about this the fastest. Also, for purcahsing train tickets in Hong Kong, do I need to do this directly at the Train station or is there another way?

Fastest? There're no direct trains for this route.
The most direct overland route would be bus Hong Kong -- Nanning (http://ctsbus.hkcts.com/routes/hk/hk_guangxi.html), then bus/train Nanning -- Hanoi.
