| Hi! I am also planning a trip to Tibet from China, best way is from Qinhai or Sichuan...but I am planning there from March to April. How's your plan? |

I am given to understand that only autonomous regions in Tibet are currently closed for foreigners indefinitely but, I believe, Lhasa is very much open. |

| I will be in Nanning until April 12 and then free to explore the rest of china and Tibet is on the TOP of my list. I'm actually having trouble getting a clear answer of how I can get a Visa (I'm Canadian) since the riots a few years back. Well, I'd love to join you if our paths cross.
