Hi all,

I am planning a visit to China in April 2009 (I was in Guangzhou in December 2008) mainly to start a small busines in electronic goods; things like netbooks and external hard disks, etc..

I will stay for around 7 days so I want to make the most of my time there. What is the best place in China where I can get those products at wholesale prices? When I was in Guanzhou, I did visit a computer market but the prices were not that much competitive and not that good to start a business.

Any ideas welcome!

GUEST67101 Hi,i think the price of electronic products in the wholesale market is good for business,if you have big order you could go to the factories in Guangzhou and Shenzhen,then the price will be competive.

I think you have quickly found the reality, the prices in your own country are already so competitive that it is hard to get into those products. If you are really keen to, I think you will need to go to factories and order in large quantities, though from what I have heard, you will still not find a very great margin. But do try, I might be wrong!!
