A report written by Susan Fenton describes that Chinese Feng Shui masters ( geomancers) predicts a calming stock market in the coming Chinese Lunar Year of the Ox. According to the ancient Chinese art of feng shui (similar to geomancy), the universe is made up of five elements: metal, wood, water, fire and earth. The coming year of Ox is a year of “earth”. Earth is seen as the calmest of five elements, and it is a “yin earth” year, signifying more feminine energy, hence a peaceful year. Surely, though it is a year of ox, the Chinese stock market won’t have a bullish market. The Ox can’t drive the market to a Bull.
