My best friend is getting married in India next month and I really want to go because I have not seen her in a long time. The problem is I have no idea how to obtain a tourist visa to India from China. I am living in the Yunnan province it's a 70 minute drive from Kunming but there doesn't seem to be a India Consulate in Yunnan. I don't speak Chinese and find it very difficult to speak to someone about this as I am here alone and at present most of my friends are travelling around China. Does anyone know if there are special agencies in Kunming who can do all the visa work and I can pay the fee or can the visa application be done using the postal service?
