A report says that the US Soccer Federation declares to bid for 2018 and 2022 World Cups. Sunil Gulati, the federation president, has confirmed this. He says that the US will unveil its plan on Feb 2nd.

Currently, Indonesia, UK, Japan, Qatar and Russia formally announces to compete for bidding 2018 and 2022 World Cups. Besides, Spain and Portugal, Netherlands and Belgium intend to co-host the World Cups. However, their dreams have been destroyed. FIFA made a new rule that it is not allowed for two nations to co-host the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.

It is said that China has also intended to host 2018 World Cup. However, the China Soccer Federation hasn't made any formal announcement.

The 2010 World Cup will be held in South Africa and Brazil will host 2014 World Cup.

Who do you think will win the bid to host 2018 and 2022 World Cup?

I don't have much knowledge about soccer. But I do know that soccer is not very popular in the USA. Why does the USA want to bid for 2018 and 2022 World Cups?

I don't have much knowledge about soccer. But I do know that soccer is not very popular in the USA. Why does the USA want to bid for 2018 and 2022 World Cups?

Katrina, American national women's soccer team has performed very well in recent World Cups. They claimed the Olympic champions three times. American national men's team also play very well. The USA is capable of holding World Cup.

Some people suggest that China hold World Cup. This is totally a bad idea. Just look at Chinese men's national team. They even can't pass the qualifying matches. What a shame! That's why the China Football Association announces that China won't hold 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
