| The first Airbus A320 is being assembled in Tian Municipality of China and is scheduled to make a test flight in May. China is assembling five A320 planes at the Tianjin final assembly line, which is the first Airbus production facility outside Europe. Tianjin was constructing a new runway to facilitate the trial flights of all A320 family aircraft. Harbin Aircraft Industry (Group) Co. (HAIG), a company under the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), has signed an agreement on the joint production of composite material parts and components for the new wide-body A350 aircraft. |
