![]() | My last visa request from the uk I was asked for Hotel address(s) or for a personal invitation letter. If you do not stay in a (large) hotel you will need to register with the local police with the person you are staying with. She will need her ID, hukou and home documents. She may also be asked your relationship. Large hotels will do this for you. |

![]() | Well, I got my visa, and I listed her as the inviter. It was very easy, and there was no mention of going to the police station with her or anything, but maybe they will tell me to when I get to China. Thanks for all your help. |

![]() | Well, I'm here, I listed her, but nobody contacted her, and I am staying at a small hotel, but didn't need to check in at the police station. This is my first trip to china, unbelievable, what an amazing place. |
