my girlfriend is moving to china

guest53126 my girlfriend is thinking of moving to china in the summer to teach English and we wondering how easy it would be for me to live out there with her, i don't have any qualifications that would benefit me

GUEST64630 The school will provide a "resident permit" for her to stay in China but since you are only her boyfriend you are on your own for arranging a visa for a long term stay..the school will not help. New tourist visas/renewals can be obtained in Hong Kong..check into multiple entry..saves you the trouble of having to reapply every time to re-enter the country.Sharing the apartment which should be provided to your girlfriend by the school will also be a problem.The school may frown on the idea of you living together "in sin" as the old saying goes...best to say you are just a "friend" who showed up and would like to visit for a few weeks....if the demand for teachers is high where she is going you might not need any "skills" to get yourself a job teaching..just the fact you speak english will be enough...good luck!
