He has sparked an interest in me to possibly travel over to that region. I am really interested in finding out what the possibilities are for work over there. I am 33 yo. and unfortunately have no 4 year degree. My path has been more of the work related education. I have spent the better part of 10 years working with children in a variety of capacities. Most recently running a after school program for middle school students. I really just wanted to get peoples opinions about this and to see if they could steer me in the right direction of web sites for more info. Thanx much. steve

Hi, Steve!

As far as I know, many foreign teachers in China do not have a 4 year degree, especially teachers in language schools. I think you have great advantages to teach as you have worked with children for years.
Which kind of school do you like to choose?
With your teaching experience, i think it's more easy for you to teach in laguage schools. Why not start on finding info about these schools? I know a famous language school in China called "EF--English First" which may provide you an opportunity to teach in China.
