Ching Ming Day - April 4th or April 5th, 2009 ?

guest01124 I am told the best time to visit distant relatives in China is during Ching Ming day as most of them will be back to pay respect, is this true ?

I am planning a trip to go back and meet my "strangers-relatives", and as I have only one day, which day should I pick ? April 4th or A[pril 5th ?

Actually, Chinese New Year would even be better, since not everyone goes home for Qingming Festival.
Either will be fine, 4-6/4 is the holiday this year. Get in touch with them and ask which day they'll be free.
