3 of us are planning to take the train from Beijing to Lhasa on March 30, arriving April 1 and staying for 2 days
Questions: 1. How do we get visas?
2. Are there any suggestions for the train trip?
3. Any suggestions for hotels?
4. Any suggestions for getting around without a tour
guide?

You might have to reconsider your plans. Tibet Autonomous Region is currently closed and there's no guarantee that things will brighten up by the time you travel.
