The rumour about Safin's retirement has spred for a while. However, Safin didn't say anything about this before. After his failure in Dubai, Safin has lost his courage to keep fighting on the tennis court. He says that he will retire after playing in Paris. He once helped Russia to claim Davis Cup in Paris and also played excelltent games there. He makes a joke that he will share the reward if he wins the champion in Paris. The premise is that other tennis players agree to this.

If Safin can't claim any champions this year, he will leave with 15 single titles including 2 Grand Slams.

Time has brought his bad temper away. He has become more mature now. Retiring might be his mature decision.

Goodbye, Safin!

Last time, numerous news said that Safin would retire but he didn't. This news seems to be creditable since it came out from Safin's mouth.
