guest36234 Can I enter China throiugh Kunming on a one way ticket or must I have a return or exit ticket? I have Australian Passport and 6 month double entry visa.

GUEST13765 thanks for the reply - had recently been to several countries where an exit ticket was essential and had conflicting advice from travel agents in oz about china - a one way ticket makes things easier of course - ciao

The only issue is if you fly direct from overseas, airlines apply their own rules to prevent being 'fined' by the destination country. If they carry you to a country and u are denied entry trhey not only have to carry yopu back but theyn also pay a substantial fine. This can be a big problem at times if you want to trake advantage if cheap tickets avail n Asian countries. Most will carry you if you have some onward bookings, even by train...thpugh I don't really see thge logic of this as these won't help if you are denied entry!
