On Friday, the U.S. president Obama announced a plan to pull most US troops out of Iraq in next 18 months. So far, there are around 140000 U.S. soldiers in Iraq. According to the plan, most US soldiers will come back to the USA by August 31st in 2010. However, some of them have to stay in Iraq. It is said that about 35,000 to 50,000 will stay in Iraq to Iraqi forces, conduct counter-terrorism missions, and protect U.S. civilian and military efforts within Iraq. These are the three functions.

By the end of 2010, all U.S. troops will be withdrawn from the Iraq.

It has been proved that it was wrong for the US to launch a war against the Iraq. Now Obama is just clearing up the mess that Bush has caused.

How was it wrong for the US to launch the Iraq war?
When was it proven wrong?

Sometimes it is better to refrain from commenting than to confirm your ignorance by making sweeping statements.

Your youth, inexperience and a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.

GUESTANG, US said that Iraq owned mass-destructive weapons before they launched the war. Did they find those mass-destructive weapons after overthrowing Saddam's regime?

a dangerous thing?
sounds like, wanting to engage Iraq would be more dangerous than protecting our borders.
We went into Iraq to disarm them.
There are no arms.
all these years later,,,,, we're still there.
Would you sacrifice your children for this "cause"?
