I read an article written by a columnist of Financial Times. In that article, he suggests that the employers should hold on to those lefties because these lefties are more creative and innovative. His view is based on the results of a research. "The US National Bureau of Economic Research has found that left-handers earn more than right-handers. Among the college-educated men in our sample, those who report being left-handed earn 15 per cent more than those who report being right-handed." "left-handers are disproportionately represented among artists, musicians and university faculty, so perhaps left-handers are better at “divergent thinking"". (The two paragraphs above are excerpted from FT News). Hengyuanxiang, a famous Chinese company once made an advertisement to look for a market manger. It set serious requirements for this position. However, these lefties needn't meet all the requirements because Hengyuanxiang thought the left-handers were more innovative. Currently, the world is trapped in the financial crisis and many corps have downsized their staff number. The columnist suggested that these corps should keep the lefties first if they decide to cut off the staffs.

GUEST5111	Sounds funny. However, some bosses don't believe this. My friend is a lefty but he already lost his job.

Since the majority of people are right handed, "gadgets" were(are) developed with this in mind.
Left handed people are at a disadvantage and have to "think outside the box" to compensate
for this problem.
Therefore, in my estimation, the "lefties" are more innovative and free thinking but the downside
is the fact that they are less regimented and have a tendency to disregard the "set rules".
I speak from my own experience only.

You know, I learned that when I was shopping for a steel door, you can get a door which you could open/close from the left or from the right. You have a choice. BTW, Obama and Bush are lefties.
