| To SASHA, I didn't find the recipe for Kung Pao Chicken. However, there is a cold dish named Chicken in Chili and Peppery Sauce. It is called 麻辣鸡丝 (Ma 2 La 4 Ji 1 Si 1). Here is the recipe: Ingredients: 250 (0.55 lb) grams chicken breast 3 grams (3/5 tsp) sesame oil 5 grams (1/6 oz) sectioned scallions 2 grams (1/15 oz) sliced ginger 5 grams (1 tsp) spicy and peppery sauce (which can be found in Chinese grocery stores) 2 (1/3 tsp) grams salt 1 (1/4 tsp) gram MSG 750 (1.5 cups) grams water Directions Put the water in a pot, add scallions, ginger and chicken breast to cook for 30 minutes. Take the chicken breast out. Let it cool off and then cut into fine shreds. Add the sesame oil, salt, MSG and the spicy and peppery sauce. Mix well and it is ready to serve. Features: Strongly aromatic. Taste: Salty, spicy, peppery and delicious. |
