Here is my story….. been coming to China for over 8 years…..have an import/export company based out of Seattle, USA …. have a branch office here in Xi’an…. own a condo in Xi’an…… been married to a Chinese citizen for 3 years (she has a US green card)….we have a daughter that has a US passport.

We are spending most of our time here in China but I travel back and forth to the States regularly for business. I am currently using a 2 year 90 day multi-entry B visa that expires in May and now feel that if possible, I need to get a Residency Visa. This would give my one year old daughter the same Visa (who now has a one year multi visa) making life a little easier for her not having to leave the country every 90 days. There is a reason we would like her to get the resident visa under my visa.

It seems that I don’t fall under any of the criteria for qualifying for a residency visa (or permit). Please advise me if you have any ideas.

Thanks
