Mixed feelings this weekend with my teams.

Man Utd lost 4-1 at home to Liverpool, minor set back as Utd are still 4 points ahead with a game in hand.

The high point is my beloved Bristol Rovers won their second away game this week, Tuesday they won 3-0 at Hereford and yesterday we won 5-0 at Walsall to overtake them in the league, we are now nine points off the play off's with 2 games in hand, fingers crossed we can catch up and a chance of promotion via the play off's.

Cheers
Alan

I’m still on a huge high after the Sarries game.
Alex got a call from the England captain before the game wishing him the best. It must have worked along with the wearing of his “lucky” boots.
Alan, I happen to have great legs…ha

I now know what you meant about your legs Dodger, I found out something about your past by accident! no wonder Ping fell for you! he he

As for my team we drew 1-1 last night at Crewe, it looks good for us as we something like 7 games at home and 3 away so if we can collect enough points we could make the play off's, I'll drink to that!
Cheers

I saw something on the Sarries website Dodger, out of respect to you, I didn't say what because you might want to keep that to yourself.
Since we became friends I have been looking to see how Alex is getting on at Sarries.

Cheers

Alan, I thought that was were you found it, and appreciate your discretion.
I spoke to BJ (that’s baby Jesus bty) last night. He’s starting again in the 1st XV.
He does seem to think that the deal we had some 20 years ago about $5.00 a try is now in Pounds, and the cheeky little sod thinks it should be doubled to a tenner as it’s premiership rugby.!!
Lets just hope he never makes the national side….ha
Cheers and good luck for the weekend, Dodger.

Hi Dodger, you should be equally cheeky and say it was Yuen and not pounds, worth a " try " he he Oh dear the punmaster ( as I'm known in Bristol ) is at it again.

I see Sarries are going to be South African dominated next season, how will this affect Alex? maybe he should go and play for Bath, the coach down there is from Oz, he might get more games and get that call up to the national side, although it would cost you more dosh I'm sure you would be proud of him.

Cheers
Alan
