Hong Kong to Xiamen by Bus

SHIRPA Points: Join Date: Apr 3, 2009 Status: offline	Hello, I very much enjoy travelling to China 2-3 times a year. When I can I try to explore the countryside outside of the main centres. Flying on a plane all the time can be boring. In June I will be arriving in Hong Kong at 10pm and wish to travel to Xiamen by bus. Option one is to see if there is a bus at about midnight going to Xiamen arriving the next morning. And option 2 is to sleep at a nearby hotel in HK and catch the bus the next day. I think the bus takes about 9-10 hours. I tried some links previously listed on this forum but they were "dead" links. I write to ask if someone can give me some information about a bus website, timetables, and maybe a cheap hotel close to the HK airport. Also a recommendation on a Xiamen hotel (about 400rmb) would also be appreciated. Thank You.
