Several internet articles refer to a Curtiss P-40 fighter plane flown by the American Volunteer Group (AVG), better known as the "Flying Tigers" having been located on the bottom of a lake in China after it crashed in WW2. One article says that it was raised by the Chinese Government. Does anyone have any information or pictures on the recovered aircraft?

I don't ......but, yea for the "Flying Tigers" Wish there were more documentaries on this subject. Nostalgia+ in an age of innocence for us but a definite hardship for the Chinese People.

I too find some articles on the Web but with very little detail. Many historians would like to see an actual Flying Tigers plane!
