We heard rumors about the fact that it's illegal for unmarried couples to share a hotel room in China and was wondering if anyone could confirm this for us? Will we be able to check into a hotel room in Beijing/Shanghai without getting kicked out in the middle of the night? or are there certain hotels that accommodate this situation more than others (but without being more sleazy)? (I am Chinese, but am a U.S. citizen). Thanks!
