Air China economy luggage allowances

The economy class luggage allowance on domestic Air China flights is 20 Kg per person. Can a couple combine the allowance into one case 29kg to 30 kgs? It makes sense for us to only have one case rather than 2. travelling around China in June 2009

As far as I know, every passenger could only take one peice of checked baggage under 20 kg for free for the economy class on demestic China flights. The free luggage amount of two or more passengers taking the same flight could be amalgamated in calculation. So ALFREDMAN63, you can do it.

I wish I had paid more attention to the overweight luggage rules when I left china earlier this year. Could have used some vaseline, that is for sure.
