The origin of the large round baked wheat cake

According to an an old legend, when the army were constructing the tomb for Empress Wu Zetian, they used their headpieces as th cookers to bake flour breads, because it was difficult to cook other food for the huge army, hence its name.

The baked bread was developed in to a kind of convenient food. it is round shaped, tender and delicious, easy to carry and can be stored for a long time.
