A bus of Chengdu burnt this morning

A bus burnt near the North Third Ring Road of Chengdu at about 8 o'clock this morning, during which 25 people died and 76 were injured.

According to relevant reports, the bus is an air-conditioned diesel oil bus put into use in Fenruary, 2005. So far, it has run 270, 000 km.
Some survivors told their experience during the accident:
Chen Chuanjiu and Zhou Wenke are both the students of a senior middle school in Chengdu. Yesterday, they experienced death and parting. They said that they opened the window after getting on the bus soon because it was very close in the bus. They didn't thought that they could escape from the opened window
in time.
Wang Mingxiu of 55 years old said that she was standing beside the bus door with another middle-aged woman shen the accident happended. After the bus burnt, somebody broke open the window of the door, and they were rescued luckily.

Zhou Wanfa recalled that he rushed to the bus door to kick it heavily for a while and broke open the door finally with the help of the people outside, he got out of the accident after the three women aside him out.
He also added that he saw a woman of five to six months of pregnancy got on the bus, he didn't know how about the woman?

It is early summer in China now, why the bus burnt? What a pity so many people was killed!
