Hi Everyone,

My name is Peter. I have a girl friend in Norilsk, Krasnoyarsk, the northernmost city in Siberia, Russia. She intends to visit China in July, 2009. Would appreciate a lot if anyone know:

1) Where is the nearest place she can apply for the Chinese Visa in Russia? Does she need to go to Moscow to apply? Does she need an invitation from anyone in China? And normally how long a Russian citizen can stay in China as a visitor?

2) Is there a direct flight from the city of Norilsk to China (any city)? What is the transportation people normally use in Siberia to travel to China (train or flight)?

Thank you very much for sharing your experience and information.

Regards
Pete

how long a Russian citizen can stay in China.
This question depend on what kind of visa your GF obtains. You can find some information on this website: http://www.facebook.com/note.php?created&&suggest&note_id=93931041436

For tourist, your GF may obtain an L visa(normally 1 month), you can do L visa extension in China for twice times. But you should show you bank statement to PSB(3000USD per month). Each time you can stay in China for more 30days.
