Hello, everyone
One of my foreign friend will go to China next year, she asked me what are "must" things she should buy in China. I am a local in Xian and have not go to any place out of Shaanxi at all, I just know that if you go to shaanxi, you must buy papercut and Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. So Can anybody give some advices on what to buy in China?

Tea and tea sets are a good buy. Carvings in jade and other stone are wonderful but expensive. Down (feather) comforters are a great buy as are the piece of bedding that covers them. I always enjoy buying small bottles of wine at the corner stores, not because of the wine but because of the wonderful containers.

Still in my home from my 1978 visit are a woven basket with a lid, an abacus and a soapstone carving of the Buddha.
