A young couple were killed by a lightening strike when they were climbing the Jiankou Great Wall( 箭扣长城), a rugged part of the China Great Wall near Beijing on Saturday. The young couple ,aged 28 ,were in a tour group of 5 tourists climbing the Great Wall. They set out at 10:00 when there is no rain. At about 12:30, a sudden thunderstorm strikes on the Great Wall. The young couple were stricken to death on the spot. The couple fell about 30 meters down a slope when they were stricken by the lightening. The other three tourists were slightly injured. When we travel in the summer rainy days, we should be cautious. Are there any portable lightening rods? Do you have any good tips on how to avoid lightening strike?

GUEST7643 An umbrella may protect you from lightening strike. The best way is ' Not to clumb the wall" in rainy days.
