After 9.11. and W. the U.S. will not be counted among peaceful countries for decade or two. No matter what Obama does, the U.S. reputation as a country which guards its benefits with guns remains strong. Of course the U.S. has a curse called TV. It makes even small things big.

Anyway, limited human rights or not, China has not expressed itself as a very hostile country, si I would say the U.S. loses this match.

CHINA of course the more peaceful country domestically and internationally; unlike the USA which now have more than hundred thousand of its military personnel in foreign countries, waging war and killing people in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan.

Previously it is also American soldiers who are waging war in Vietnam where the US bombed and killed million of Vietnamese people.... Americans are naturally aggressive and violent a people to first used Weapons of Mass Destruction (Nagasaki, Hiroshima) to kill civilian populations. How can the U.S. be ever considered a peaceful country??
