Under the oppressive burden of life in big cities, some of my friend around often sigh ' if I went back to my home town to live a steady and comfortable life afte graduation, I wouldn't live so hard now. I work day by day with sweat and effort, but my salary could only let me solve the problem of food and clothing.' While some say ' I get to know more and more what I didn't know before in the big cities although I live a running life. If I went back to my hometown, I would become a frog at the bottom of the well. So after the graduration from the university what should we choose?

>Living a comfortable life in small towns or living a back-breaking life in big cities? It's not always as simple as that. First off, everyone's different. Secondly, many can live a comfortable life in big cities or a back-breaking life in small towns; it depends on your occupation. The only thing that one might be able to generalize about, is that the pace of life might be calmer in the small towns. But the workload is another story.

Perhaps a few years of a difficult life in a big city will prepare you emotionally, mentally and financially for a better life in a smaller city. In the US we have a few sayings: "earn your chops" or "pay your dues" that mean you must gain initial experience to win the best opportunities. However, people in the US usually think of success as moving from a small city to a big one. With experience and wisdom we some times decide the best life is living as the big fish in the small pond rather than a small fish in a big pond.

''With experience and wisdom we some times decide the best life is living as the big fish in the small pond rather than a small fish in a big pond. '' I am wondering for a growing small fish that lacks of experience and wisdom, which pond should it choose, a big , a small or both?
