DENBELL Points: Join Date: Jun 21, 2009 Status: offline	i will be in shanghai in july and i am staying in the holiday inn vista for a day i would like to go shopping for some presents and would like to know where the markets are and best cheap shopping what is the name of the building and the road it is on is it best to get a taxi or use buses to get there and how far as well as price of journey i need toys for granchildren and some small items for family members thanking all for any help

Excuse me, but have you never learnt how to use punctuation? You're not typing a telegraph, for goodness sakes!
What kind of presents are you wanting to buy? "Small items for family members" is a little vague.
There's more than just ONE shopping location. But in any case, my best suggestion for your limited information would be to take a taxi to Yuyuan Bazaar. Have the name of the place printed in Chinese characters (城隍庙豫园商城) for everyone's benefit.
