Hi all~!
I'll be in China next month with my husband. It's our first time there.
We want to take the o/n train from Beijing to Xian and then another one from Xian to Shanghai.
Is it necessary to purchase train tickets in advance? Or is it pretty easy to buy them at the station? Do they sell out?
Please help! Thanks!

Yes, I would definitely recommend that you buy in advance if you want sleepers, since tickets go on sale 10 days in advance.
I could help you out with the Beijing -- Xi'an and Xi'an -- Shanghai train tickets. If necessary, please email me at yahoo.com|ellyse99 and put "TravelChinaGuide" and your own username (eg akhsu) in the subject line, thanks.
