China has raised gasoline and diesel prices by 600 Yuan(about 87.8 U.S. dollars) per tonne as of June 30, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

The price for gasoline was raised by 8.6%, or 045 Yuan per liter, and the price for diesel by 9.6%, about 0.51 Yuan per liter. This was the third price adjustment this year, which was in response of recent international oil price fluctuation uder China’s new oil pircing mechanism. Under the new pricing mechanism, China’s domestic oil prices are to be “indirectly linked” to global crude prices “in a controlled manner”.
