PETERSEAFORD Points: Join Date: Mar 10, 2007 Status: offline	G'day - in Kunming i had the pleasure of attending a cultural display by Minority Groups - it was fabulous. my questions relate to two groups - all were fantastic but the girls that sang and were dressed in beautiful blue i think were Bai but i am not sure - would i love one of them to take home with me - you bet. the other question i have is the Minority Group that look like North American Indians to me - the storyteller had long grey hair and was dressed in what appeared to me to be an animal skin. The group sang to wonderful drums and the "totem" appeared to me to look like a bison skull with two horns. maybe the program was just entertainment but i felt that it was cultural and although i could not understand the words i was just spell bound with the action - colour and the spectical in general. i must say the entire country of China was beautiful and the people made me feel "at home". many have a tough life but everybody i meet had time to smile even though most were working very hard. appreciate any information at all regards peter
