Hii All

Can any one advise me on , how do i get to Huangpu River & the Bund from shanghai south railway station ? Can i take metro from shanghai south railway station to this place ?

The Bund and Huangpu/Whampoa River are roughly a 15-min walk from exit no.3 of Nanjing Donglu metro stop (line 2). That's if you have no luggage to cart around.
If you have no luggage, then you could try taking metro from Shanghai South train station. Go on line 1, then change to line 2 at People's Square interchange, get off 1 stop later at Nanjing Donglu, and start walking east -- you should be able to see part of the Pudong skyline once you're out on the pedestrian street so you won't lose your way.
Otherwise, if you have luggage, I would advise you to take a taxi -- expensive but much less hassle.

Hi thanks ellyse, could you pls explain do you mean after taking line 2 i should get off at East Nanjing Rd ? and walk toward east ?

Yes, correct. Walk east on Nanjing Donglu (this is the name of the road), that is!
