A Chinese saying is that a rich family can remain weathly for not more than 3 generations.( 富(fù)不(bú)过(guò)三(sān)代(dài)), which share the same meaning with the English idiom:” The curse of God rest on idleness and that’s why “from clog to clog is only three generations”. Now, it seems that ‘from clog to clog is only TWO generations” in China. Children of the rich (the second generation of rich families) tend to be more spoiled and idle. Hu Bin, a 20-year-old dude from a very wealthy family in Hangzhou, killed a pedestrian in his drag race with his fellow mates in a downtown area of Hangzhou on May 7.

The speed of his Mitsubishi Racing lancer was estimated to have reach at least 80 kilometers per hour at the time of the traffic accident. More appallingly, he and his friends still chatted delightfully instead of calling China’s First Aid Call 120 after the accident happened and the victim was serverly injured and bleeding, leading to the death of the victim. Later he was arrested and charged with a traffic accident crime. Yesterday, Hangzhou West Lake People’s Court ruled that Hu bin was sentenced for 3-year imprisonment and pay a compensation of 1,130,100 RMB to the victim’s family. The victim died at the age of only 25. The recent years have seen a increasing crime/accident committed by the children of the rich. Chinese people give them the name” 富二代(the second generation of a rich family). A prevailing opinion is that “Fu Er Dai” is at a loss and from clog to clog is only two generations. What do you think of the Children of the Rich?

Police in Hangzhou have arrested a drag race driver who allegedly killed a pedestrian downtown in the capital city of Zhejiang province. The arrest warrant submitted by police asserted that driver Hu Bin should bear full responsibility for the accident. Mr. Hu was arrested on suspicion of a traffic accident crime. The speed of the car was estimated to have been at least 80 kilometers per hour at the time of the accident. Is it good to pass down a considerable amount of wealth to your children? The father buys building materials; the son build the house; the grandchild sells and the great grandchild begs?

The perpetrator-Hu Bin

A plethora of money is not good for children. It incurs a lifetime dependency on their rich parents. The rich parents' parenting skill is also questionable. The ability in accomulating wealth is not equal to that in raising children. Success-oriented men are usually unexpressive and distant from their own emotions and those of others. They spend a large portion of their time in making profits. Little time was distributed to educate their kids. Money is hotbed for corruption and evil. Indulged children are easy to degenerate.

Kids from rich families never know the difficulty in making a living. They squandered the fortune that they inherited from their fathers.

A number of folks said "money leads to evil things" . I can understand why there is a near-universal envy of the rich and covet of money".Think about it?

GUEST11050 Their parents could be pre-occupied with making or spending money, so they don’t spend the time with their children in order to instill some value, wisdom, or discipline upon the young. Parents who shower their children with expensive toys as a gesture of affection or love should also foster responsibility, and respect of societal laws. When these spoiled children run into trouble with the law, their parents should go to jail with them. Their parents are equally responsible for the demise. There is no compensation for innocent lives lost. The ugly reality is that these wealthy people can pay their way out in China.
