No flights from Changsha to Guilin so you could try an overnight train K652/K653 from Huaihua

There are trains out of Zhangjiajie but you'll have to change as there is no direct train to Guilin either try K318/K315 from CHANGSHA to GUILIN

This is not the shortest way to Guilin. Make inquiries when you get to Zhangjiajie you may be able to travel by bus all the way south via Jishou, Fenghuang, Jingzhou to Sanjiang and Longsheng eventually arriving in Guilin. If you have the time this would be an interesting bus or train journey

Trainline ends in Sanjiang so you'll need to bus it from there.
